From his works, clothes, social media, to even the simplest things he does every day—everything is a work of art. No wonder why his works received multiple recognitions from local award shows, making him one of the top art directors in the country back in 2013 as surveyed by the Creative Guild of the Philippines.

RC Bannares

With more than a decade of experience in the advertising industry, he is a proven creative powerhouse that can produce outstanding work that delivers profitable business results.

Currently, he spends most of his time as the head of design for Global University Systems— a network of educational institutions all around the globe, where he manages all aspects of creative and design development of digital and print materials intended for marketing various top-line universities worldwide.

Before Global University Systems, RC was the creative director for Gohan Concepts where he elevated the overall quality of creative outputs of the agency. He also established the agency’s creative team and helped install workplace rituals that optimized the organization’s creative processes.

With his experience, he’s been invited to talk into multiple seminars. The most recent ones include Out of the Box Media Literacy Initiative (OOTB): SPOOF ADS 2019 Design Workshop and Competition and the 2nd Bantula International Conference on Culture-based Education in 2018 where he acted as a resource speaker and workshop facilitator.

One of the seminars became the gateway for him to be invited to teach part-time in De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde under the Design Foundation department. He now teaches Fundamental Design Principles and Theories and Advertising in the said institution.

The roots of his strong creative foundation go back to his stint as an art director in different eminent advertising agencies such as TBWA\SMP, Publicis Manila, J. Romero and Associates, PC&V Communications. When not obsessing about high fashion art, he loves taking care of his pug daughter Princess Sarah, gracing TV screens, and painting, which he plans to exhibit soon.
